Biography
Alois Heinrich Priechenfried (1867-1953) Austrian. Born in 1867 in Vienna. A contemporary of the acclaimed genre artist Isidor Kaufmann. Priechenfried was a student of Christian Gripenkerl at the Vienna Academy of Art. He achieved much success in Vienna for his depictions of shtetl life.
