Biography Blum, Ludwig, Painter. b. 1891, Czechoslovakia. Immigrated 1923. Studies: 1910 Royal Academy, Vienna; 1919-20 Academy, Prague, with Professor Franz Tiela; advanced studies, 1920-23 Amsterdam, Paris, London, Madrid. 1949 One of the initiators of the foundation of the first Artists' House in Jerusalem. 1968 Recceived the honorary reward of "Yakir Yerushalayim" for his artistic tribute to the city. Died in Jerusalem 1974.
