The clock with a round, white enamel face and large, Roman and Arabic numerals. Housed in a rectangular case with a round top and a glass front and sides. The front glass adorned with a sculpted depiction of three classical female figures. The case decorated throughout with tortoiseshell veneer featuring gilt marketer work of scrolling flowers and the corners and finials mounted with ormolu of garlands and sphynx heads. Raised on four curved supports mounted with scroll shaped ormolu, beneath four receded, domed supports. Topped by a trapezoid finial decorated with ormolu and surmounted by a sculpted figure of a man seated on an orb. Including a similarly designed console.
