Biography
Raffi Kaiser, Israeli painter, born 1932. Raffi Kaiser was born in Jerusalem. After art studies in Israel and France, he spent 1960-1962 specializing in Renaissance art in Italy. In 1962, he settled in Paris. In 1967, Kaiser was chosen by the Museum of Modern Art in Paris as one of the top 15 young foreign artists in France. In 1987, he spent half a year in China creating works inspired by 10th-13th century monks which were subsequently exhibited in Paris in 1990. Kaiser works in ink, watercolor, tempera, pencil and mixed media.
