In the “Baal Shem Tov” form. The backplate centered with crowned double-headed eagle, surmounted by a large crown and a bird form finial, flanked by two pillars surmounted by two pigeons. Fronted by a row of eight oil jug-shaped receptacles, set on diagonal-shaped pattern ground, raised on four supports. Fitted with matching servant light. The whole backplate is attached to original brass sheet, to which applied decoration are attached. The remaining screws are original. Fully marked, maker’s mark MR.
Condition
Missing one servant light. Very soiled. One of the oil pans detached from the plate. Some screws missing from backplate.
