The scroll clasp is set with turquoise stones. The case is engraved in Hebrew “Esther Scroll” with a Star of David. The upper, tiered cone is brass.
Contains original parchment scroll with fine calligraphy and primitive natural pigment decorations.
The wood axis is original but the wooden handles are not.
Length: 40.5 cm
Condition: Consistent with age.
Provenance: In the possesssion of a Syrian family for over 100 years
