Each composed of handle above repoussed, chased and engraved bulbs, topped by cast brackets alternating with applied lions, surmounted by an openwork repoussed baluster and applied eagle finial over knop. One is engraved in English with dedication: “Presented by Mr. & Mrs. D. Walkowitz to the S. Hackney Synagogue, December 7th 1912…In Loving Memory of His Dear Father…”. Both Rimonim bear engraved Hebrew dedication on the handle. Fully marked on most of the parts, including applied elements.
