Notes: Bears a label from "Cornelle Saint Cyir", France. Heavy craquelure is present. The signature was executed along with the painting. All the evidence points to authenticity of the work by the hand of Max Ernst, one of the greatest 20th century painters. Since there is no certificate of authenticity, this work has been catalogued as attributed.
