A round, brass gilt base with three cabriole supports surmounted by a cobalt blue stem and topped by a large oval body in cobalt blue accented with gilt clusters of flowers. The body terminating in a wide, brass gilt, pierced rim decorated with a rocaille motif and flanked by two brass handles. The domed lid decorated with two cartouches depicting a river and courtly scene (signed Gillis) and topped by an acorn shaped brass handle. Fully signed.
