Unknown glass painter. The panel set in lead, with the imperial eagle under a crown and the coat of arms of the city of Basel underneath. A knight in armor and feathered helmet holds a lance the left. A landscape in blue on the right and battle scenes on the top right and left. Inscribed "Anno Domini 1544 Basel".

Provenance: Estate of Isidor Kaiser, Copenhagen-Hamburg.
Condition: The window is complete and there are no parts missing. There are cracks in the upper part of the feathers section. Some cracks around the knight’s belt and lance. Three cracks in the lower part of the landscape section. A tiny crack in the upper right of the coat of arms section. Another crack on the title section. The lead frame is consistent with age. The reverse is soiled with a naturally occurring film due to age, which can be removed.
