The clock with a round face ornately decorated with scrolls in relief and with large, enamel painted, Roman numerals. Housed in a tall, rectangular case with a hinged, glass door and glass sides. The door mounted with ormolu garlands beneath a sculptural sunburst head. The case decorated throughout with tortoise-lining featuring brass gilt marketer work of scrolling flowers and the corners mounted with sculptural birds and scrolls. Topped by a sculpted, bronze gilt putty and mounted on four scroll shaped supports.
