The clock with a round face ornately decorated with scrolls in relief and with large, enamel painted, Roman numerals beneath an elaborate, gilt relief depicting a neo-classical scene. Housed in a rectangular case with a hinged, glass door and glass sides. The case decorated throughout with tortoise-lining featuring gilt marketer work of scrolling flowers. The corners and finials mounted with ormolu sphynxes and rosettes. Raised on four supports.
