The clock with a round face decorated with scrolls in relief and with large, enamel painted, Roman and Arabic numerals, inscribed "Martenot". Housed in a curved case with a hinged, glass door and sides. The door fronted by a sculpted depiction of mythological scene. The case decorated throughout with rouge tortoiseshell featuring gilt inlay of scrolling flowers and the corners and finials mounted with ormolu in a similar design. Raised on four scroll shaped supports and topped by a figural depiction of an angel. Including a similarly decorated shelf.
