Lot 51086:
A wooden post/statue representing a standing male with a red-painted face and simple headdress. Many wooden figures depicting standing or seated men in rigid poses were found in important Chimu sites. Some of them probably served as grave makers, others were interred with the diseased. The bigger ones probably had some architectural function, they adorned entrances to the buildings.
