Profile representation of a mythical being elaborated in low relief. The creature has an undulated reptile body and a feline head. because of its recurring shedding of skin, the snake was probably linked in Andean thought to complex ideas such as regeneration, renewal, rebirth, growth, fertility and agriculture.
