Roberto Gaetano Crippa (1921-1972) Italian painter and sculptor. Born in Monza, Italy in 1921, died in Milan in 1972. Attended the Academy of Brera and studied painting under Aldo Carpi, Achille Funi and Carl Carrà. In 1947 he graduated the Academy and exhibited in the Galleria Bergamini in Milan. In 1948 he participated in the Triennial exhibition of Milan and in the Biennial of Venice. In 195 he participated in the Biennial of Venice, as well as in the Galleria Casanova of Trieste. In 1951 he visited New York. In 1954 he participated in the Biennial of Venice, and in the Triennial of Milan, and he exhibited in New York. In 1956 he exhibited in Tokyo, Hiroshima, Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris and Rome.
