biography

Zvi Lachman (195-). Born in Tel Aviv in 195. Studies: Sculpture with Sternschuss, Danziger; Haifa Technion graduate, architecture with Danziger; Parson’s School of Design, M.F.A.; advanced studies, New York, painting and sculpture. Teaching: Avni Institute, Tel Aviv; Art Teachers' College, Ramat Hasharon; Tel Aviv Museum; Teaches drawing at the Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem. Prizes: 197 National Competition for Memorial Sculpture, First Prize; 1978, 1979 Helena Rubinstein Scholarship; 1979-8 Alliance Scholarship; 198-81 Scholarship for New York Studio School. Sculptures: 197 Hadera; 1989 Shmuel Tamir Park, Herzlia Pituach. 21 sculpture- Ha' mercaz Habintchumi, Herzelia. Lives and works in Ramat Hasharon.
