biography

Boris Dubrov (1979-). Born in St. Petersburg in 1979. At the age of five he attended primary Art school where he got necessary knowledge of painting and graphics, which he later developed on a professional level. In 1994 he entered the Art-Restoring Lyceum "Kupchino". The Administration of the Lyceum arranged the first exhibition of his works, which were mostly Surrealist. In 1997 Dubrov immigrated to Israel. In 22 he won a prize of the “Young Artist” competition in Israel. In 23 he got acquainted with a unique master of coinage, Itshakh Cheskelson, working in the style of Judaica and got interested in the culture of Jewish people. Exhibitions: 24 Surrealism, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem; 25 a solo exhibition, Ashdod; The "Salon des Artistes Francais", Paris; "Judaika Art", New-York, USA; 26 his next exhibition will be held at the Jerusalem Hebrew University.
